Galapamula Waththe Gedara Vihanga Vinod Akshan Wijerathna, known professionally as Vihanga Vinod, is a Sri Lankan music producer, artist, and audio engineer.

Born on November 13, 2005, and raised in Polonnaruwa, Sri Lanka, his journey into music began with a deep connection to sound and self-expression. Growing up with his parents and younger brother, his creative path developed from a personal and introspective space.

He completed his O/Levels and A/Levels at PL/Medirigiriya National College, and went on to pursue audio engineering at Pearlbay Institute, where he continues to develop his technical and creative skills.

As an artist, Vihanga does not limit himself to a specific genre. His work focuses on blending different styles and influences, allowing each track to evolve naturally based on emotion rather than expectation.

His approach is rooted in authenticity — creating from real moments and translating feeling into sound. Each piece reflects a state of mind, forming a connection that goes beyond just listening.

As he continues to grow, he remains focused on shaping a distinct and personal sonic identity.
